It is time to plant
If you want to know what to plant right now where you live, just go to plant something new, or click on the microphone and say: what can I plant right now at home?
Ivy continuously analyzes a large amount of data, including the weather forecast and the historic temperatures of the place where you are, in order to give you the smartest answer.
Just follow its recommendations.
Choose the right place
You already know what plants to start growing, but ... can you really do it?
You will have to consider three things.
Do you want to have it outside the house, on the terrace for example, or inside?
There are plants that you can have all year round in the living room, but forget about having tomatoes in winter in the kitchen with natural light.
How much light do you have?
All plants need sunlight. Some of them can grow in the shade, but others, like vegetables, will need large amounts of light. Ivy will tell you what each plant requires so you can find the right place for them.
And if you want to know what plants can grow in your window, in the one that only receives light in the morning, from 7 a.m to 11 a.m, just say: Find me plants that need less than 4 hours of light per day.
How much space do you have?
Are you going to plant in a backyard or in a small window? Depending on the space you have, you can use large or small containers. Ivy will tell you what size is better for each plant so they can grow without problems.
How to do it?
You already know what you are going to plant and where. Good planning is very important, but it is not everything. Now you have to sow the seed, or transplant that little plant that you just bought into the final container. How do you do it?
Just click on the microphone and ask. Ivy will guide you step by step. How to sow a cabbage? How do I transplants the lettuce? How do I water the tomato plant?
Care of the plant
Your plant is where it needs to be, and now what? Well, you have to take care of it so it will grow healthy and strong.
Click on my garden to see the plants you have configured. If any of them need your attention, Ivy will tell you.
Every time you water your plants, you will have to tell Ivy. Click on the raindrop, and if you think the soil was still wet, or too dry, Ivy will learn from you to make better recommendations in the future.
Keep in mind that not all plants need the same amount of water, nor that you water them with the same frequency. There are many factors to take into account. What each plant likes, ambient temperature, the pot size, the type of soil it is in or the humidity in the environment. Do not worry, and follow Ivy's advice.
Even though Ivy does not notify you anything, if it rains and your plants get wet, you'll also have to tell.
You will also have to fertilize. This is especially important when you grow in pots since the medium is more limited. Ivy will tell you when you have to do it.
